CALGARY, AB — The Prince Rupert Gas Transmission Project ("PRGT") has awarded Allseas a contract to install an underwater section of pipeline that will connect Canadian natural gas supply to the Ksi Lisims LNG export project. Allseas is one of the world's leading offshore pipeline installation companies and will bring their highly specialized offshore engineering and execution capabilities to the project's remote marine location.

Allseas is one of multiple general contractors that will be awarded work in specific sections along the project's right-of-way. PRGT continues to prioritize and maximize opportunities for participating First Nations and communities.

The Nisga’a Nation and Western LNG formed NW Infrastructure Limited Partnership in connection with their acquisition of PRGT during 2024. The partners are dedicated to promoting Indigenous participation and ownership in the energy sector. Committed to sustainable development and economic empowerment, the partnership aims to create a lasting positive impact within First Nation communities across northern B.C.
