These agreements include financial provisions, business and workforce opportunities, and support for climate initiatives. Their terms are designed to strengthen relationships and enhance the projects’ capacity to deliver lasting benefits to Gitxaała citizens, while supporting the development of these critical infrastructure and export facilities.

"The Gitxaała Nation is proud to enter into these agreements with the Nisga’a Nation and Western LNG,” said Luugagwelks: Linda Innes – Elected Chief Councillor of the Gitxaała Nation. “These agreements reflect the strong and longstanding relationship between our Nations and our shared commitment to supporting economic opportunities that will benefit our communities and the region for generations to come.”

"Collaborating with Nations has been the core of this project since its inception and a major part of what we see as making Ksi Lisims LNG a successful initiative.”
